About Marric Service Centre
A quarter of a century ago the doors were opened to what would become one of the longest standing mechanical workshops in the area.
Marric Service Centre became synonymous with exceptional service and a very high standard of workmanship in car service and auto repairs.
We started in 1996 over there at the back in the old Mazda Ford workshop. Gradually we worked up to the point where the workload becar much for just a single pair of hands and w started employing staff. Soon, the challenge was no longer the workforce, but the actual working space and when our current property got listed for sale, we jumped at opportunity.
It has been 25 years since and in 2021 we got new owners. Marric Service Centre has always been a family-owned and managed enterprise and to see it passed on to another family brought us joy and excitement.
Though the business is now under new of and management, Franna and Chanté retan the name and the staff.
Franna Lamprecht and his wife, Chanté, moved to Tzaneen (from Rustenburg) about six years ago.
Franna joined the Lannie Motors team as the Sales and Service Advisor.
In his time in Rustenburg he owned and operated his own driving school, but the greener pastures of the bushveld beckoned and so he took the
opportunity that was presented and has never looked back since.
"I really enjoyed my time at Lannie Motors and the friends I made there will stick with me for the rest of my life. The experience and the standards that were imprinted in me during my time at Lannie will help us here at Marric where we will strive to reach and maintain that level of perfectionism and quality."
